Fernando Alonso's 2004 Renault F1 used helmet, by Arai, signed,

used during the early part of the 2004 F1 season, with visor tearaways and Snell number to inside, in blue, red and yellow colour schemes, helmet with logos for Telefonica, Hanjin, Mild Seven, Mode, Guru, Leaseplan and Arai, with helmet production number to reverse, chips and marks from use, offered together with a certificate from the helmet painter, and a copy of a photograph of Fernando gifting the helmet.

This helmet was purchased from Fernando Alonso and Adrian Campos by the first owner, they met Fernando at the 2004 Spanish Grand Prix where it was signed and exchanged.

The helmet was then sent to Rafa Garcia Cano (Aerodiseno) so the signature could be lacquered and preserved.

The helmet then exchanged hands again to the current vendor, who also contacted Aerodiseno who provided a certificate confirming it's authenticity.

Bonhams has also been in direct contact with Rafa Garcia Cano (Aerodiseno) to confirm the helmet as authentic.
