Footnotes

Boasting the desirable overdrive on 3rd and 4th gears plus wire wheels from new, this un-restored and original low-mileage MGB was purchased around 1980 by the famous stud farm owner, Peter Trivass, upon whose death it was sold to close friend and neighbour, Matt Chaplin, joining his private collection. Used sparingly while within the aforementioned collections, 'WYT 720G' has always been well maintained and kept ready for immediate use. Nevertheless, following a lengthy period of infrequent use, some re-commissioning was considered appropriate. In the last few months, the following items have been replaced with new: complete stainless steel exhaust; overdrive unit; batteries; radiator; rear road springs; brake drums, shoes and wheel cylinders; brake discs, callipers and pads; suspension bushes; tyres; and fuel tank and pump. The car also features a new top-quality soft-top and full tonneau cover, while the original bumpers have been professionally re-chromed. A major service has been completed and the car is said to be 'on the button'. A full photographic record of its re-commissioning is available.

Highly unusual in being unmolested, original and unmodified, this exceptional MGB is described by the vendor as a highly useable and honest car. It comes with MoT to January 2021 (no advisories) and a written warranty of the circa 69,000 miles recorded. The V5C registration document states only four former keepers, two being father and son.
