We thank the Daimler and Lanchester Owners Club for the following information. This Daimler is not an EL24 as catalogued, but a 1937 Daimler Light Twenty (E20 chassis type). There were a maximum of 877 cars built between their launch in July 1935 and end of production in 1939. Less than 10% of cars produced survive. The 6-light saloon coachwork is by Daimler, and the 2,565c.c. (19.3hp) engine is of monobloc construction.
