Manufactured between 1934 and 1939, the Type LR was a lightweight sports roadster that in tuned and modified form provided privateers with a competitive mount for the 175cc racing class. Indeed, an LR won the French Championship in 1937 while another 175cc Terrot won its class at the Bol d'Or in 1938. The LR was powered by an overhead-valve engine with bore/stroke dimensions of 56x71mm, which drove via a three-speed gearbox initially, later versions having four speeds. A dry weight of 90kg (198lb) and a top speed of 120km/h (62mph) were claimed. Modified for racing, this handsome Terrot LR is offered with French Carte Grise normale.

Produite de 1934 à 1939, la Type LR était une routière sport légère qui, modifiée et préparée, offrait aux pilotes privés une machine compétitive dans la catégorie 175 cm3. En fait, une LR remporta le Championnat de France 1937 et une autre Terrot 175 le Bol d'or 1938 dans sa classe. La LR était munie d'un moteur à soupapes en tête de 56 x 71 mm associé à une boîte à trois rapports ou à quatre rapports sur les dernières versions. Le poids à sec indiqué était de 90 kg et la vitesse maximale revendiquée de 120 km/h. Modifiée pour courir, cette belle Terrot LR est accompagnée de sa carte grise normale.
