c.1918 Stutz Model S Roadster Project
c.1918 Stutz Model S Roadster Project
This is a great opportunity to restore one of Stutz's sportiest long chassis models. The project offered here includes a great roadster body mounted on the Stutz frame, nice new upholstery, and a good set of wire wheels; all of which mechanically look quite complete. The car is lacking an engine but several appropriate engines are available in the parts section of the sale.
Accompanying this lot are receipts and correspondence between Don Short and Harrah's Auto Collection that confirm that the body was purchased from HAC. Also notable, several pieces such as the steering column are tagged A.K. Miller and Ralph Dunwoodie.
Overall, this very worthwhile project has the potential to yield a fun and good-looking roadster. As with any of the project cars a careful inspection of the components is recommended before bidding. Offered on a Bill of Sale.
