The following Lots are artwork from the archives of Puck Magazine.

Puck- The weekly magazine was formed by Jospeh Keppler Sr in St.Lous and began publishing German and English editions in 1871. The English editions continued for over forty years under severla owners and editiors until it was purchased ny the William Randolph Hearst Company in 1916. The publication continued for another two years, the final edition being published in September of 1918. A typical issue ran to 32 pages with a mixture of coloured and monochrome illustrations, offering humorous comment on the political and social issues of the day. The cover of each issue quoted Puck as saying "What fools these mortals be!".
